The Hive

I'm going to throw it out there, but this is by far one of the best overdrives on the market.
 
Let me set the scene in Olaf's Frozen 2 Style. Boy searches for tone. Buys amps galore, lots of guitars, pickups, plectrums, strings to no avail. Sets up pedal kit company, 7 years later orders big batch of boards, tries 'The Hive'...jaw drops. The sound in his head was realised.  We were there.  It gives you the power to push your drive tone into a whole new world of wonderful loveliness! Its incredibly touch sensitive, you control the response by how hard you play, pick harder for more grunt and play softer for a more subtle response, simple! Its a truly versatile and adaptable overdrive. With the unique Focus control you can adjust the feel and dynamics of the pedal as well as its overall EQ. The drive goes from crunchy lovelyness to fairly high gain for an overdrive. Not distortion, but nice quality crunchy overdrive.  Its a fantastic pedal, and I'm really pleased someone requested it! 
 
Personally I will be stacking this and a Golden Chain on my board to cover all my OD needs.
 
The board is designed with the diy-er in mind, enlarged solder pads, a spacious board and the ability to take right angled pots result in an enjoyable build. 
 
This kit fits a JP1590b enclosure. It is suitable to an intermediate level builder.
