4 Boost circuits in one pedal. This is an intermediate level build. Or 4 beginner projects, depending how you want to judge it.
The 4 boosts here are:
1. Rangemaster style germanium.
2. Op Amp like a micro amp.
3. Mosfet aka SHO Crackle
4. Dual Jfet boost, akin to the Fulltone Fat Boost.
The pedal has a master bypass, and then each boost has an on off toggle switch and a pot to set the level of boost.
Its a lot of kit for the money, and its not really that hard. There's nothing special about the build process here, there are just quite a few parts to identify. The board is spaced for good old right angled pots so it gives you a nice neat finish in the JP1590BB enclosure it fits inside, it features our DIY friendly layout and board design, detailed PDF build guide, top quality parts and the availability of our leading build support forum!
Pre drilled kits come with top mounted jacks and power on this. Eatin aint cheatin baby!
