Onosecond
Browsing for a dual channel overdrive with a grand total of 14 knobs? Here you go then...Onosecond
The circuit path is modelled on a Friedman Amp, not got one - cannot confirm - but both channels do sound really good and both are different. Its not just the same circuit twice, although there are some similarities.
Each side has 7 controls to fiddle with...I mean dial in your tone. Volume, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Tight & Presence. Unlike the original unit, Tight is on a pot.The two footswitches have a unique (to me) set up, as there is a master bypass and one that selects between channel A or B . So you can run two totally independant channels from this very clever box.
The kit is hard in difficulty. There are a lot of parts to identify, which in turn means a lot of parts to debug if you make a boo boo. Other than volume, its not got much that will require special equipment or skills. I pat myself on the back with the board layout, its great, and designed to make a hard kit a little bit easier.
This kit is supplied with a JP1590XX enclosure and has been designed with the DIY-er in mind. A hobbyist friendly PCB layout and larger solder pads to encourage good joints.
This kit compares to the Friedman Be-OD Deluxe
