Mystery Prize
Theres always a tale with the kit names here. The Mystery Prize came about from a magazine snippet from the 60/70's in a Swedish magazine, they published the circuit so it was given a try out of intrigue more than anything. Its really very good as well! Many circuits use the CD4049 to make fuzzy tube sounds and this one has a bit of an octave tone to it as welll for added bonus.
I'm sure it compares to something thats on the market but who knows what that is.
There's nothing special about the build process here, there are just quite a few parts to identify. The board is spaced for good old right angled pots so it gives you a nice neat finish in the JP1590B enclosure it fits inside, it features our DIY friendly layout and board design, detailed PDF build guide, top quality parts and the availability of our leading build support forum! The reward for the level of effort is very good.
This kit compares to a random magazine article...beat that!
