Marmalade Sherriff
Here's a kit for one of the discontinued greats. The Marmalade Sherriff picks up where the ShredMaster left off giving us some old skool Marshall distortion in a teeny tiny stomp box. How do they fit amps in there, I'll never know! Famously used by Thom York and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead
It covers everything from blues to classic rock and 80s shredding alike while retaining a true Marshall color. Moreover, the equalisation section featuring bass, treble and a contour knob to scoop frequency is pretty efficient. It has been said that the Shredmaster circuit will split opinion on is it good or is it hype... so I'd suggest building it if you're sure its for you, then again, I could say that for all the kits :)
The kit is housed in one of our JP125B enclosures, the PCB features our DIY friendly approach, which includes enlarged pads and good spacing to encourage good joints. This one sits at an intermediate level.
