The latest PCB hangs from the board mounted pot, and toggles. The toggles are internal switches on the original. Please note, the 'fat' toggle, has little effect therefore you may wish to experiment with the value of C4. Another suggestion online is that C6 could be amended to 100n. The circuit is ripe for experimentation, or it can be used as is and it is still great.
Q1 is designed for both through hole and surface mount Jfet's. The current boards have the SMD Fet pre-soldered for your convenience. Speaking of convenience, how neat is the layout! Designed with the diy-er in mind. I've given you ample part spacings and larger solder pads to give you the best chance of a succesful build.
This kit is supplied with a JP1590B enclosure.
