Here we have a Plexi in a box distortion, with three knobs controlling the vol, tone and gain and a two position toggle switch which lets you select between two modes. Its classic rock in a box! Think Kossof, ZZ Top and friends.
The kit is not so difficult, as you can you have a few parts to identify but beyond that there is no special skill necessary. The results are great for such a simple circuit.
Thru hole Jfets are an endangered species. This kit is supplied with surface mount JFETS. They are small but far from impossible to solder. If I can do it with my KC eyes, then anyone can. If you want to order the SMD fet's pre soldered then you can do so here
This kit is supplied with a JP125B enclosure, the PCB can hang from the toggle securely and also takes right angle pots which we will supply at no extra cost should we stock the correct value. If not, they will wire in place easily.
